《羅馬之戀》以羅馬城中被稱為『少女之泉』特雷維噴泉為背景， 敘述三位來自美國的女郎追求幸福愛情的故事。她們依照當地的傳說，在春天向少女泉投下一枚硬幣，願望就會成真。影片也如同導遊帶領遊覽羅馬、威尼斯觀賞迷人風景，這部電影，獲得1954年奧斯卡最佳攝影，最佳歌曲 的兩項金像獎。

這首《教父》的配樂是由義大利作曲家尼諾·羅塔(Nino Rota)作曲配樂，當年雖被提名奧斯卡最佳原創配樂獎，但是最後卻被取消資格。因羅塔曾使用他在艾杜亞多.德.菲利浦的喜劇作品《Fortunella》所寫的主題曲作為《教父》的主題曲，即使在那部喜劇中的主題曲是輕快斷奏的，但是旋律與教父的主題曲無異。也因此《教父》的配樂無法獲得奧斯卡的肯定。怪異的是，1974年的《教父第二集》同樣採取《教父》的主題配樂，但是卻獲得了當年的最佳配樂獎。 Continue reading
“Moon River” is a song composed by Johnny Mercer (lyrics) and Henry Mancini (music) in 1961, for whom it won that year’s Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was originally sung in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Audrey Hepburn, although it has been covered by many other artists. The song also won the 1962 Grammy Award for Record of the Year. Love Story is a 1970 romantic drama film written by Erich Segal and based on his novel Love Story. It was directed by Arthur Hiller. The film, well known as a tragedy, is considered one of the most romantic of all time by the American Film Institute (#9 on the list), and was followed by a sequel, Oliver’s Story during 1978. Love Story starred Ryan O’Neal, Ali MacGraw, John Marley and Ray Milland and is also the film debut of Tommy Lee Jones in a minor role. Continue reading
